Introduction to LCBS Training
Three Day Course, 8:00am - 4:30pm

The Level I LCBS Training Class is designed for people with all current skill levels in LonSpec and Rapid Zone, from the beginner to experienced users. Emphasis is on the basic menu functions of the LonSpec program, with a strong explanation of the XL10 controllers (CVAHU, UV and VAV controllers are emphasized). The building management functions of the XL15a are discussed as well as the programming concepts of the XL15a. Programming concepts of the XL15c are covered also. Examples and explanations of Control Loops, Logic Functions, Logic Loops, and Start Stop loops will be presented to help the student make informed choices in their own projects. This is followed by instruction in the use of the Command Display and an explanation and demonstration of LonStation.
Student Background suggested for this class: Basic PC knowledge, Basic understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies.
Students should come prepared with a laptop.

Advanced LCBS Training

The Level II LCBS Training, Advanced Level Programming class is designed for engineers and technicians that have completed the Level I LCBS class and would like to expand their understanding of the possibilities of the LonSpec program. Heavy emphasis is placed on understanding the programming possibilities of the XL15a and the XL15c controllers. The majority of the class time is spent programming the XL15c controller. Class labs are designed to provide practical solutions to everyday problems.

Lon Station

The Lon Station LCBS workstation class is a hands on class designed for engineers and technicians that have completed the Level I LCBS and Level II LCBS class. This class is an overview of the Lon Station software capabilities and usage. Heavy emphasis is placed on the XL15a Building Manager and XL15c controllers. The majority of the class time is focused on the XL15c controller. Class labs are designed around everyday operations. Due to the amount of material to cover, and the many functions and features of the Lon Station software, all software features will not be demonstrated, however a brief overview of all features will be discussed.
The student should come prepared with a laptop PC loaded with the latest rev. of the Lon
Station software.
Live demo boards will be provided.

Rapid Zone

The RapidZone training is a one day hands on technical training on Honeywell’s Commercial Zoning System. The Honeywell RapidZone Commercial Zoning System is a breakthrough in zoning simplicity. Honeywell has designed and built a software wizard that tells you exactly which components to use for each application, shows you how to connect system components and guides you through every step. Upon successful completion of this course the student will be able to take a zoning system from the estimating stages to the commissioning stages.
