The Honeywell Spyder class is a hands on class designed for engineers and technicians. Class attendees must have AX certification and a strong understanding of the LonTalk technology. This class is an overview of the Spyder VAV and General Purpose controller’s capabilities and usage. Heavy emphasis is placed on the LonWorks interface of the device and integration with other controllers. The majority of the class time is focused on common methodologies and practices and the use of the Spyder Library and custom pallets. Class labs are designed around Lon network operations and rapid integration strategies.

Students should come prepared with a laptop tool loaded with the latest rev. of the Vykon or WEB’s AX Workbench software and a LonTalk interface card. Live Spyder demo boards are limited so the student is encouraged to bring his/her own Spyder if possible.
